Trammell Crow Residential’s Alexan Aspect
Trammell Crow Residential, a Dallas-based, premier multifamily real estate company, came to WRAPPED for multifamily art consulting and original art creation. Trammell Crow Residential was looking for an expansive yet cohesive collection of multifamily artwork for their new, luxury apartment development in Fullerton, CA, Alexan Aspect. Specifically, they needed corridor artwork, leasing area artwork, gym artwork, and artwork for the mailroom. Trammell Crow Residential’s goal for Alexan Aspect is to bring “a hip new living experience to Fullerton,” one geared towards millennials in the workforce. In addition to various amenities and a modern architectural design, they wanted to use artwork to help bring this vision to life. After an initial site visit to the apartment complex in Fullerton, CA, the WRAPPED team began working on a collection of bold, splashy, abstract artwork of a predominantly black and white palette, interspersed with pieces of bright reds and blues. For the corridors, Trammell Crow Residential wanted to find a way to differentiate the penthouse floor’s corridors from the lower floors’ corridors, so WRAPPED created a bigger size of corridor canvases for the penthouse floor to create a grander experience. The final selection of artwork comprised of 29 canvas pieces at varying sizes for the corridors, 6 canvas pieces for the leasing offices, and 2 canvas and 4 aluminum pieces for the mail room and gym. The result was a large collection of artwork that brings the energy of a high end hotel to life in Fullerton’s hottest new luxury multifamily development.
