Venice on Rose is a stylish and trendy residential development located on Rose Avenue in Venice, California – the same city where we maintain our company headquarters. In carrying out a recent full-scale renovation of the complex, Hibner Design Group collaborated with WRAPPED Studios to create concepts for a series of large-scale murals to enliven the refurbished property. The project represents an excellent case study in the power and utility of custom residential art.
The finished artwork consists of five murals, wayfinding & signage, corridor wallcovering, and vinyl wrapping for resident lockers – the most visible mural graces a top-floor unit at the corner of Rose Avenue and Rennie Avenue. Its playful, color-rich design makes the property instantly recognizable, elevating it to the status of a local landmark. Venice on Rose is now a focal centerpiece of the neighborhood, which in turn has helped Greystar, the property’s management group, build recognition in the community, attract new tenants with current market rate rents, and maintain a unique brand identity throughout the property.
